Customer Service Representatives
Career Opportunity:
We have exciting opportunities for Customer Service Representatives in our inbound call centre in our Montréal office. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Care, and the successful candidate will be responsible for answering calls from new and existing customers with a focus on selling and promoting the features, benefits, and advantages of Shaw Direct products and services.
Accountabilities:
• Provide pleasant and professional customer service over the telephone to current and potential customers
• Process customer requests for new services, changes in service, specialty services and equipment purchases
• Recognize opportunities to promote and sell our products
• Assist customers in choosing Shaw Direct products by promoting the features, advantages and benefits of our products
• Achieve sale performance targets according to established company standards
• Resolve customer issues, reaching solutions that are mutually beneficial to customers and Shaw Direct
• Various other duties as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual in both English and French is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous computer experience including use of the internet
• Ability to listen and effectively understand a situation; able to respond with clarity and professionalism
• A team player approach with the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment
• Attention to detail and results oriented
• Experience in an inbound sales and service work environment is a definite asset
•Must be available to work flexible shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
• A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
