Customer Service Representative, Retail
| Career Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative – Retail in our Prince George location. Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will be accountable for achieving predetermined customer service levels and sales targets for the retail centre. Accountabilities: • Provide professional and knowledgeable service while delivering an exceptional customer experience • Establish strong customer relations with both internal and external customers • Assist customers in choosing cable, Internet, and phone products/services by identifying their needs • Provide billing explanations to our external customers • Process incoming payments • Maintain retail inventory standards • Seek opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers • Represent Shaw in a positive and professional manner • Generate revenue by achieving monthly sales targets • Achieve specified monthly metrics set by Supervisor • Work as a team to ensure department and individual goals are met on a daily basis • Promote the features, advantages and benefits of Shaw products and services • Various other duties as required Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications: • Grade 12 completion or equivalent • Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated customer service and sales experience within a fast paced retail, sales and/or call centre environment • Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to close the sale • Driven by results • Pleasant personality with superior communications skills both written and verbal • Team player with excellent customer service and sales skills • Comfort level with assessing customer needs and offering Shaw products and services over the phone • General computer and typing skills • Ability to work independently and the desire to go above and beyond while contributing to your team’s overall success • Excellent organizational & multi tasking skills while being adaptable to changing priorities and challenging situations • Ability to work various shifts including weekends, evenings and statutory holidays • A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity Benefits of working at Shaw: At Shaw, we genuinely care about our people and we want to set you up for success with plenty of opportunities for career advancement both locally & nationally.
