Reporting to the Vice President, Customer Care, the successful candidates will be accountable for proactively responding to customer comments and identifying opportunities for the company.

Location:

The nature of this role allows for flexibility in work location and can be performed from any call centre location; no relocation is required. Please note, although this position is posted in 7 locations across Canada, there are a total of 2 openings available nationwide.

Accountabilities:

• Actively search Social Media sites and identify opportunities to respond to comments related to Shaw
• Collaborate with all teams in the business in providing effective and timely resolutions to issues
• Proactively review if Shaw is being promoted and represented properly online
• Escalate and work with Senior Management on larger issues requiring sensitive action plans
• Report regularly and as required on activity, responses, and opportunities
• Champion the evolution of our Customer Care strategies on Social Media sites

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Meeting or exceeding performance in current role
• Minimum 2 – 3 years in a customer service support role
• Solid understanding of our overall business and operations
• Experience with and knowledge of social media and networking sites
• Strong communication skills including presenting ideas, writing various types of documents for internal and external audiences
• Demonstrated good judgment and decision making abilities
• Technical Service and Troubleshooting knowledge is an asset
• Competitive intelligence an advantage
• Strong organizational skills, ability to follow through and effective time management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision
• Goal oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
• A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
